DO YOUR GUMS BLEED WHEN BRUSHING?

Christina SAYS!

Brampton Dental Office, Brampton Dentist, Dentist Brampton, BLEEDING GUMS, Plaque, Dental Scaling, Scaling and Root Plaining, Bleeding gums are mainly due to insufficent plaque removal from the teeth at the gum line. This can lead to gingivitis or inflamed gums. If this plaque is not removed, it may harden into tartar and this will eventually lead to more bleeding, and a form of gum and bone disease, known as periodontitis. Daily brushing, flossing and regular dental appointments can help with plaque removal.

Some tips!
- Brush your teeth after every meal.
- Use a soft-bristle toothbrush instead of a hard one.
- Floss your teeth twice a day
- Visit us at least once every 6 months for your regular check-ups and cleaning.
